The mission of the St. Louis Farmers Market is to create a diverse and thriving market place for local farmers and crafters to sell their goods. We strive to help local businesses & entrepreneurs through promotion and partnerships; to increase community access to healthy foods; to promote healthy activities; and to be a positive and fun place in the community that customers enjoy visiting again and again.
About the St. Louis Farmers Market
The St. Louis Farmers Market was founded by Linda Bader in partnership with the St. Louis Middle of the Mitten Association and the Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce. The market is run by a MIFMA Certified Market manager along with help from an Advisory Committee made up of St. Louis community and business leaders. All involved are committed to creating a successful and sustainable market. We are an outdoor, seasonal market that features fresh produce, flowers, plants, baked goods, unique handmade craft items, meat, honey and more. The market is located in downtown St. Louis Michigan outside the beautiful new City Hall Building at 300 North Mill Street. This location offers plenty of parking and easy access to downtown shops and restaurants. We strive to partner with other community groups who share our mission. This includes local non-profit groups, service clubs, the schools, human services, healthcare, and transportation services. To keep the atmosphere fun and positive we also offer space for local musicians to perform at the market, along with events or activities that promote healthy living.
